Jan McFarland

Born in Montgomery, AL, the daughter of Dolores and "Coach"� Kyle Renfroe, Jan Graduated from Auburn University in Montgomery with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Math.  She raised 3 sons as a Navy wife moving every 2 to 3 years over a 29 year career.  Jan entered the work force early at 13 year old, working for Renfroe's Clothing Store.  Jan defines the entrepreneur spirit, she started the Learning Academy, an after school assistance program, in Slidell LA.  She transformed her business with 8 tutors when she moved to Prattville, AL after her husband retired from the service and renamed it Target Tutoring, a one-on-one teaching assistance business for students.  She retired that company after six and a half years.  She co-founded her Residential Redevelopment company A. J. Homes LLC.  Jan has been a successful Realtor for 5 years and a Residential Redeveloper for 9 years.  Jan is the vice president and chief financial officer of A. J. Homes LLC.  Jan also runs another financial company from her home office.

Mike McFarland

Born in Port Hueneme, CA Mike Graduated from University of West Florida with a Bachelor's of Arts in Communication Arts majoring in public Relations and Advertising. Mike served in the United States Navy as a Meteorologist and an Oceanographer for over 29 years.  He retired to Prattville with his wife and 2 of his 3 sons and transformed his residential redevelopment business from Alabama Home Buyers to A. J. Homes LLC.  He has been successfully redeveloping houses with his business partner for over 9 years.
